Fly Fishing

After departing from the hotel, first you’ll travel north towards Puerto Varas experiencing views of Osorno Volcano (weather permitting) you will then turn southwest for approximately 21 miles en route to the Maullin River. Upon arrival, you will have breakfast at Rio Maullín Lodge and then receive instructions and proper gear to begin fishing. Board a small boat and travel down river. Cast-off from the Mackenzie boats into the waters of this wonderful river that runs down through virgin areas, surrounded by magnificent scenery.
After fishing, lunch is waiting for you at the lodge. You will be brought back to your hotel in the afternoon.

This is a Catch & Release fly-fishing excursion. We regret that fish cannot be stored onboard the ship. No guarantees are made with respect to catching any fish. Only 2-participants per boat is permitted. Each boat is accompanied by Spanish/Basic English speaking fly-fishing guide.
