Frutillar – On the Trail of the German Immigrants

This half-day excursion introduces you to the small town of Frutillar, located on the shores of Lake Llanquihue. The lovingly restored historic houses and their bright flower displays create an impression of having travelled back in time. The interesting open-air museum exhibits restored houses and furniture from the early epoch of German settlement, as well as a functioning smithy. The town is also full of places offering delicious German cakes.
