Chile among top destinations for single travellers

The European and North American readers of Travel+Leisure Magazine have ranked Chile the seventh-best travel destination for single travellers. The single readers of this magazine, which reaches 2.2 million readers per month online and is distributed via print in 11 countries, were asked to name the countries where they were welcomed most warmly and felt the safest. Chile scored near the top for its helpful people, good nation-wide tourist infrastructure, and an excellent and easy-to-use transportation system, plus high safety standards.
