Last year, Chile won the world title of best adventure tourism destination for the third time at the annual World Travel Awards.
In the current 27th version of these awards, outstanding achievements in all areas of the global tourism industry will be honoured once again. Chile was nominated this year in 19 categories as the best travel destination in South America including Leading Adventure Tourism Destination & Nature Destination among others.
From the Atacama Desert to Patagonia, Chile offers unique destinations for nature and adventure tourism. Especially the wide and partly still untouched natural landscapes are a big plus of the country.
