Warm welcome to cruise ships in Chile

The new season is in full swing, and we have already welcomed several cruise ships to the ports of Chile.
The arrival of the Hanseatic Nature, Hapag Lloyd’s new cruise ship, was especially delightful. With 195 passengers on board, the ship anchored on 13 November in Punta Arenas, the first Chilean port the vessel visited on its journey from Montevideo, Uruguay.

Despite the current situation in Chile with demonstrations continuing in some cities of the country, the 2019-2020 season started relatively normally, and we have had good experiences with our ships arriving in Patagonia. Excursions from the port to the Chilean inland have taken place without major restrictions. We have always made and will continue to make every effort to select the best routes and destinations to offer our guests the best possible travel experience. In spite of the current circumstances, we want to ensure visitors have a great experience and will keep Chile in good memory.
