Ecocamp Nevados de Sollipulli

The domed tents of the Nevados de Sollipulli Eco-Camp lie at 1,100m/3,609ft, in the middle of the forest of the Reserva Nacional Villarrica. The largest dome functions as the dining and living room, with giant windows looking out into the forest. There is also a fireplace to ensure cosy warmth. Outdoor tubs made of wood are available for relaxation in a hot bath under the stars after hiking or horse-riding tours. The water is heated by the camp’s own hydropower facility. Every tent enjoys central heating, and there are three comfortable beds with feather duvets, as well as a private bath and WC. Numerous hiking tours through the local araucaria forests start from the camp. Horse riding tours and canyoning are also possible. The highlight among activities offered is without doubt the ascent to the Sollipulli crater, which is filled by a giant glacier.
