The Spanish airline Iberia announced that it will offer three additional weekly flights between Santiago, Chile and Madrid as of June 1st, 2018. According to Iberia, this will amount to an annual increase of 40%, or about 340,000 flight seats. The flight times will also improve connections to some 100 Iberia destinations in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
Iberia also has presented its new “Premium Economy” cabin, which will be available on all A340-600 flights between Santiago and Madrid. This cabin will feature 23 seats that are wider and provide 40% more reclining and 20% more space between rows.
