LATAM – First direct flight from Frankfurt to Santiago

The airline LATAM will offer direct flights between Frankfurt and Santiago three times a week starting 30 June 2020. The sale of tickets has already begun and makes LATAM the only airline offering a direct flight between Chile and Germany.

This option means a significant reduction in flight time.

According to LATAM, the flight from Frankfurt to Santiago will be on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and will take about 15 hours. The return flight to Frankfurt will take off on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 21.20 (local time) in Santiago (SCL) and land the next day at 17.40 (local time) in Frankfurt (FRA). The return flight time will be only about 14 hours and 20 minutes.
