Kari Gorge

This unique gorge in the ‘Cordillera de la Sal’ (Salt Mountains) was formed by the combined effects of water, wind and extreme temperatures. For those, who want to spend a morning or afternoon far from the standard tourist trails, the dried out river beds here are the perfect place to inspire the imagination: wander past astonishing chalk and sandstone formations and follow a natural labyrinth along winding tracks.

Good trekking boots are recommended for this excursion.

The hike is easy and also suitable for inexperienced walkers.
