Chile’s national tourist board, Sernatur, has awarded the “Sello S” (as the Seal of Sustainability is locally known) to the hotels Cumbres Lastarria and Valle Corralco Hotel & Spa. We are very delighted that two of our partner hotels have been awarded this seal for their contribution to the sustainable economic development of tourism in Chile.
Cumbres Lastarria, a modern boutique hotel in Santiago, has made a name for itself thanks to its extensive recycling measures and reduced water consumption through the use of efficient water flow regulators. The Valle Corralco Hotel & Spa in the northern of the Lake Region was honoured for its use of local products and eco-friendly construction materials. The two hotels endeavor to introduce additional sustainable processes and thus further engage in the ecological and sociocultural context of the tourism industry.
