Seal of sustainability “Sello S” for Hotel Galerias

We are pleased to inform that the Hotel Galerias, one of our most important partners in the heart of Santiago, has been awarded with the Chilean Seal of Sustainability, or the “Sello S.” The Hotel Galerias is very popular with our guests due to its excellent location and great service.
Several Chilean state institutions, including the Ministry of Environment and the National Tourism Board (Sernatur), have joined with the private sector and environmental groups to develop this Seal of Sustainability. It is awarded to service providers who follow sustainable practices, to help strengthen their profile and raise environmental awareness in Chile’s tourism industry.
The Hotel Galerias focuses on increasing awareness among guests and staff, recycling, waste prevention, energy- and water-saving measures, as well as the purchase of local products in order to avoid long transportation and to support local providers.
